An Introduction from the Editor-in-Chief
Hello everyone, and welcome to the first (small) fragment of our new blog: "Bits and Pieces"!
We're excited to launch this brand-new blog platform to provide Ostraka contributors with more opportunities to speak about what makes you interested in Classics and Ancient History. With this blog running alongside our existing academic journal, "Bits & Pieces" aims to provide students with a chance to voice their ideas in a shorter and more informal setting.
This marks a dynamic and refreshing direction for Ostraka. We're looking forward to amplifying student voices and discovering your niche perspectives on ancient topics. Why did you choose to study the ancient world? For those who don't, what made you shy away from it? Be it about your favourite piece of classical reception or your experience of the latest Classics Society social, we want your say.
